ALCOLOCK Alcolock implementation in the European Union; an in-depth qualitative field trial. The general objective of the project is to contribute to a reduction of the number of victims on European roads by preparing and facilitating legal implementation of alcolocks in the European Union through research on the psychological, sociological, behavioural and practical impact on drivers whose vehicles are equipped with an alcolock.
DRUID The Integrated Project DRUID (Driving under the Influence of Drugs, Alcohol and Medicines) deals with the scourge of drink-driving and is going to find answers to questions concerning the use of drugs or medicines that affect people’s ability to drive safely. IMMORTAL Impaired Motorists, Methods of Roadside Testing and Assessment for Licensing IMMORTAL specifies a research programme concerning the accident risk associated with different forms of driver impairment and the identification of 'tolerance levels' applied to licensing assessment and roadside impairment testing (including drug screening).
